My furnace keeps turning off. Have to turn breaker on and off to get it to kick back on but the breaker is never actually “broken”. Advice?

So as the title says, I keep waking up to a 50 degree house. I notice the heater isn’t running. The only way to get it to kick in is for me to turn the breaker to the furnace off and then back on. Sometimes I have to flip it a couple of times before it’ll stay on. It’s been progressively getting worse. Any idea what’s going on and how to fix it?
