Is there anywhere (retail, big-box stores) where I can get a nozzle today or tomorrow? Is there a sizing chart specified by manufacturer or should I just replace with what's in there? Any way to know in advance so I can buy parts before I start the job?
Oil tank is sitting empty (I drained & cleaned/flushed it). Have new filter. My house is two blocks over, I'll steal 25-30 gallons out of our tank so I can get something going tonight. Is there a secondary filter at the pump/impeller (at burner) or just the filter at the tank?
This thing looks pretty beat. I'm assuming the worst. If I need to re-line the firebox can I buy sheets of kaowool at the big box stores or wait for supply house in the morning? Asking about firebox kaowool because flue was full of crap at least 12" up over the clean out door. I'm assuming at some point water has gotten into boiler --which will be fun to clean out in the cold.
