This has happened a couple times. I look at my thermostat and it’s a few degrees cooler inside than what my thermostat is set to. I go outside and notice my outdoor unit is not running. What I’ve done to fix this is I go in the attic to my heating unit and completely shut off power. I wait 30 second or so and restore power back to it. My outdoor unit then starts working as normal. This has happened about once a month for the past few months. However, it happened three days ago and happened again today.
Does anyone have any idea what might be the cause for this? I’m scheduled to have a technician come out next week, but I just wanted to try and get some insight.
