Advice replacing a lineset in mid-rise condo

So I posted last year about replacing a lineset in a mid-rise condo. Subsequently, the line was fixed using chemical sealant. But when we replaced our old R22 system with a 410a system, it seems the hole re-appeared, possibly because of the higher pressure. Now the system won't hold charge.

We have now had three companies run leak tests in our unit and on the roof and determined that there is no leak in any visible area. That includes opening up a bunch of holes in our ceiling to visually observe the line running in our unit. At this point, it's pretty clear the leak is in the line set, which runs from our 2nd floor condo to the heat pumps on the roof above the 7th floor.

I've been quoted ~$4000 to replace this line, and it isn't even clear how it would be done (stupid people who built my condo don't appear to have saved any of the mechanical drawings so we're fumbling in the dark). We think the line runs through a chase that goes to the roof, but it doesn't appear to go straight, because the point where the line enters my exterior wall is not exactly aligned with the point of exit on the roof. We also don't know how tight the chase is, so we don't know if we can just obsolete the existing line and run a new one down.

The other option we have is a smaller roof on a protruding part of the building above the third floor - there are a few heat pumps there that serve units in a different part of our condo. But that would require running a line up one story on the outside of our building (in the front). I'm willing to do it, but I wonder if our condo board would approve, since it would be an eye sore.

Does anyone have experience replacing a line-set in a mid-rise condo? We're in a pickle so advice is appreciated!

TL;DR: Looking for advice to replace/repair lineset in 7-floor condo building; I'm on the 2nd floor.
