I can't breathe. I need help.

My family and I just moved into a new home. It was build in the last 10 years so it's fairly recent.

The previous owners disclosed that they had pets, so we had the house cleaned thoroughly before moving in.

Within the first 48 hours of living there, I couldn't breathe. We tried to open windows and have fans everywhere but it didn't work. We thought it might be accumulation in the HVAC system so I called a specialist to have it cleaning.

During my original call, he told me to just turn off the ventilation until he could clean it.

It was 91 in the house for 4 days and it was very difficult on everyone, especially the kids.

The specialist came yesterday and showed me how dirty the vents were. That definitely needed to be cleaned.

I also saw all the crap that came out when he opened the vents up.

The problem now is that even after spending $500 on this, the problem has not been resolved AT ALL.

The vents are now clean but I'm literally dying here.

I just had to turn the system off again but that's not sustainable, especially with summer starting.

I need help. I need ideas. What am I doing wrong? What should my next step be?
