Running AC not blowing cold air

I have a ~10 year old unit that's never been looked at. Everything works fine. The coils aren't filthy or blocked, the filter is clean, the thermostat is normal, and the unit runs consistently. Except the air that comes out of the vents is never cold. It's like a fan that blows the current temperature air, and feels cool because it's just moving air.

The only thing I can think of is it needs refrigerant. I'm on a budget, so do you think this is something a maintenance call will remedy, or should I have someone inspect and service the AC unit?
