We have a two story house and like many others we have problems maintaining a good balance of temperature between upstairs and downstairs. We have tried the typical suggestions of trying various combinations of open and closed vents with no success. We also keep the fan on all the time.
Last night I noticed that there is a detectable difference between the speed of the air flow between the upstairs and downstairs vents. I couldn't find any sort of damper by the fan that could be affecting this. Any thoughts on other things to investigate or possible solutions?
