I have an older house with an older AC unit. The upstairs stays about 5 to six degrees above the downstairs. The upstairs also needs new duct work but if I leave the air on all day it feels fine. I'm trying to save costs a bit. If I put a dehumidifier upstairs would that help cool down the upstairs faster when the air does cut on?
