A/C Freezing up diagnostics

So my evaporator coil started freezing up recently. I called a technician and he got the following measures from the lines:
R-410A
Liquid Line Pressure: 325
Suction Line Pressure: 90
Outdoor Ambient Temp: 93
Liquid Line Temp: 93
Suction Line Temp: 73
Superheat: 43
Subcooling: 7

He concluded that superheat is high becuase the txv is bad and would cost 500 to replace. Does this sound reasonable? I don't even know if the A/C has a txv since I can't find the sensor bulb anywhere (maybe it's inside the evaporator coil). A/C Unit is 3 years old.
