Location: Northern Utah
Wife wants to replace the units to raise the value of the house, which we plan on selling once most of the cosmetic repairs are fixed (fence, basement, paint, etc.). The replacement will probably happen once the two large windows are replaced with more energy efficient double/triple pane windows.
I haven't really researched brands or services. But my state and gas/electric companies offer rebates of up to $600 per Central Air and Furnace.
Any ideas for the most cost effective approach?
Also, would they remove the old swamp cooler from the roof along with the installation?
