Rotten Customer

Customer called for an walk-in cooler Down in his restaurant.
I went up on the roof and started the unit. It ran for a minute and then stopped. I assumed the run cap was bad so I went to get my tester. Literally on the roof for 10 mins. I was stopped by the owner on the way out.

He asked what is wrong I said not sure yet I need to get another tool. To which he replied. Tech b from your company was here and worked on it. You should call him.

So between the time I talked to him and got back on the roof he called my service manager and told him I didn't know what I was doing and he shouldnt have to pay.

When my boss called to tell me that I was livid. My boss told me this customer caused us problems before. He gave me permission to leave if I wanted to.

I stuck in there and finish the job it was a bad capacitor I was in and out in less than an hour and I made sure the owner knew that I know what I am doing.
