Hello Everyone,
I live in Arizona and I have been experiencing an intermittent issue that's been driving me nuts. Our AC is set to Cool at 80 during the day, however when I get home from work, the temperature in the home will be at 90, sometimes higher, degrees.
To fix this, I simply turn the switch on my thermostat (LUX 1500) from Cool to Off, then back to Cool again. From there the AC turns back on and starts blowing cool air again.
I've had a guy come take a look at it and he said there's nothing mechanically wrong with my unit. When my AC is blowing, the splits are at 50 something degrees, and like I said this has happened only intermittently (once every three weeks).
Does anyone in here know what could be the cause of this? Do you think it could be a thermostat issue or maybe something up with the blower?
