Accidentally pulled disconnect - now unit won't start.

Before anyone calls me a n00b, bear in mind that my knowledge of HVAC repair is only very basic troubleshooting. This one has me stumped.

Just bought a new home. First day in the home, I went around and did a self-inspection. When I got to the HVAC unit, I went to go pop off the panel (that hides all the wires and the control board). When I did this, a little black disconnect switch fell off. It was basically a little plug that was inserted into the unit, but was located on top of the panel. Went to go plug the disconnect back in, and now I'm getting nothing.

I've cycled power from the breakers inside and outside, reset the thermostat, and even pushed this little random red button next to the unit - still not sure what it does. But no matter what I try, I get nothing from the unit - both inside and outside.

Thanks to my curiosity, I'm currently spending the first night in my new home sweating. Can anyone help me out before I go spend a bunch with the AC repair guy? I know it's gotta be something simple!
