We are looking at an all new furnace and air conditioner. The quote for Daikin (DM96VE0803BNA and DX16SA0301A) is $8400. The quote for Armstrong (A96US2V090C12S and 4SCU14LE130P) is $9600. We got quotes for other brands but these are the two installers we liked the best.
The only difference I can see on the specs is the Daikin furnace is 80,000 BTU and the Armstrong is 90,000. All the performance specs look the same.
Any reason not to go with the cheaper Daikin option?
