So it started this Friday, just great 3 day holiday weekend... We normally set the a/c at 72 and it doesn't have an issue maintaining at that temp. Last night the house was at 78 while it was set for 70 we lowered it because it wouldn't cool.. So I did the checks that every tells me to do the ac compressor fan works the pipe are normal one cold and the other little warm.. The cold one sweats/condensates a little which I figured its normal being that it high 90s outside.. The air filter is new. Thwbonly weird thing I found was water in the drip pan but I cleared the pipe with some bleach and water so it shouldn't be an issue. Any ideas I'm a first time home owner so I've never dealt with any of this before .
