Our AC has repeatedly lost power to the thermostat over the past few days. If I shut the power off overnight, the AC will usually work again the next day, but will lose power to the thermostat again after a few hours. A multimeter verifies that there is 0 potential difference between any of the thermostat wires when this happens, including Common. Any ideas about where to start troubleshooting? I suspect that the problem lies with the air handler - perhaps a control board? Some type of capacitor not staying charged? Air handler is an American Standard TEM6A0C36H31SA and outdoor unit is American Standard 4A6H5036G1000AB. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
