[San Antonio][Model: S3QA - 048KA (4 Ton)] Condenser fan suddenly began to rotate backwards; replacing capacitor didn't solve the issue.

First of all I very much appreciate your help.

As the title suggests the fan suddenly reversed its rotation. After troubleshooting (and confirming with a professional, albeit over the phone) I assumed the issue was the capacitor. The only other culprit (from what I can tell) is an issue with wiring to the capacitor but several months ago we had a fan motor issue (it burnt out) and had a professional replace it, and no one has touched the wiring since then.
