Job outlook for HVAC service tech and expected beginning salary.

I'm going to school for HVAC service trade and I was curious if anyone could tell me what the expected beginning salary is? I live in Colorado. Also, is if difficult to find a job in HVAC here in Colorado?

Are there any trade groups I should belong to?
