It's like a thermostat inside a Central AC unit and has numbers ranging from 0-12. It is currently at 6, but before it was at 4 , but the repair man changed it. When I ask him why, he said he didn't change it. I know for a fact it was on 4 as I have taken a picture of it. I would like to know what this thermostat does and what the numbers control. Whenever he comes to "fix" the AC he just moves it back and forth and that's it and gets paid around $40. I've since been doing this and AC has been good thus far.
- Location (your climate): Temperature in summer 50 degrees celcius+ (currently 48-50).
- Model and Serial Numbers: It's around 20 years old and the model name is scratched off, but it's american made and I believe starts with a "U".
