Humidifier Install Help

Amateur / DIY here - looking for guidance on installing an Aprilaire 400M on my relatively new Lennox Gas Furnace SL280V. The iComfort thermostat I'm using appears to have a humidistat built-in and I'm looking for advice on how best to setup the electrical.

I'm assuming since my thermostat includes a humidistat there's no need to install the manual humidistat but I'm just not sure if that's a good idea or if there's something I'm not understanding.

Do I just wire directly into the HUM and forgo the included manual humidistat & transformer?
