Ductless Mini-Splits: Replacement

So, I just bought a house that used to have 4 rooms cooled by wall-mount mini-split AC. the units are still in place but probably haven't worked in years (there were window-units installed when I bought the place). I would like to replace them, and I was wondering if I should do most of it myself. I don't think I would have much trouble installing new units myself, since it's just a matter of (carefully) pulling new tubes through the space of the old tubes. I would still call someone out to perform the pressure test and other final steps. do you think it's worth doing any of it myself? it seems like it aught to be a cheaper job if all they have to do is flare some copper, pressure test, and turn it on.

FYI: it's two heat exchangers outside, each feeding two indoor units.

if I don't end up doing a 1-to-1 replacement, I will probably try to do a ceiling cassette inside. does anyone have opinions on those? also, does anyone know of manufacturers that have units that fit between joists? I wold rather not cut and frame joists to install a unit in the ceiling. I've seen a unit by Mitsubishi, but I don't know if they still make it.

FYI: the ceiling units would be on lower floors, thus no attic to mount in.
