I noticed a few days ago my unit was not blowing as cold of air as it should. I opened the unit up and found it was covered in ice (picture inside the unit https://imgur.com/gallery/Nfoj4). I'm going to let it thaw overnight and check it in the morning.
Is low refrigerant the only cause to such a large amount of ice buildup? If not, what are some other causes? If so, how much would it possibly cost to find a leak, repair it, and recharge the system? I have a family friend (who's a certified tech) I can call to come check it out. I just need to know what to expect.
