I'm trying to find an AC that I can use to keep my room cool but doesn't use that much energy, or possibly runs on battery. I live at a friends house and can't run up the power bill. Preferably would like to be able to run it for long periods of time and only use about as much electricity as a box fan, or maybe a bit more but not by much. I live in the northern US so evaporated coolers might not be the best, so I've heard.
Any suggestions?
