So quick bit of information; I live in a older wooden home with terrible insulation and a terrible internal cooling system. I also live in a shotgun house where I live with a roommate where I have 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. So I just bought a window unit that is 6000 bpi to cool down my side. The issue I am having is the unit blows cold air but doesnt blow very much air at all. So because it wont put out a lot of air the house during the middle of the day is so hot due to the house's bad insulation.
Power saving mode is off and it is on cool with highest fan setting, is there anything I can do to make it better or should I just return it and get another?
