I've got an older townhouse, built in 1969. All windows/patio doors are single pane windows. The patio doors (three of them) are getting replaced with Low-E ones, but the windows are still going to be single pane.
I'm having a lot of trouble getting the house to a good temperature right now, and the current outdoor unit seems too small to take care of the job.
Townhouse is 1900 sq. ft., and from what I've read online it looks like a 3.5 ton unit should be able to handle it. I think the current unit is 2 tons, but that is from pulling the part number online and checking it out.
Any help anyone can give me would be great, I'm in way over my head on all of this!
