So, i'm a novice at home ownership. My power bill is already high this month. (Granted it's been very hot the last few days but we don't keep the air at a low temp) I had the house repiped 2 weeks ago. The new pipes are in the attic and surrounding areas. The attic space gets VERY hot and so does the garage. (In Florida) Is there a chance that the pipes being in constant heat can have an affect on the power bill? I am sorry if this question is stupid. I just need to eliminate this possibility before going into a complete panic. Thanks.
