I'm selling a condo unit and a home inspector found some mold in my utility closet around the discharge ducts of the AC Coil. This seems as to be caused by condensation off the ducts onto the surrounding drywall, which has only a 1" clearance from the Coil enclosure and discharge ducting.
My question for you guys: Should this have been predictable and the unit moved further away? I was unsuccessful in finding any relevant codes for minimum clearance between the coil enclosure and surrounding walls.
