How can I get the cool outdoor air inside?

-Arizona -Trane 4ton 16.5 SEER 13 EER and Trane XL824 thermostat

We just had our unit installed in Aug this year which got us through the final summer months (thankfully). Before, our home was using an evaporative cooler (we call them swamp coolers since we're in a dry climate), but as I've gotten older my endurance to heat has diminished and let's face it, we're hitting longer hotter temps than ever before.

Now that the overnight temps are ideal (~65 degrees) we really want to push all that cool air into our house without having to turn on the cooling system. I've tried turning off the cooling system and run only the fan at 100%, but it takes several hours to cool down to outdoor temp IF at all. When I perform the aforementioned, I can tell there's a big difference from when the system is ON and cools the home at 100% especially the fan speed and air intake at the registers is noticeably blowing strong. Whereas when the system is OFF, fan only, the force of air is moderate. Shouldn't I be able to bring in the cool outdoor without having to cool it again?

I've tried getting the installers to help, but they seem to not have more answers for me on this. Am hoping Reddit can save the day (and our efficiency). Thank you in advance!
