I need some help with an EFM oil burner.

It's a fairly old unit, but has had yearly service and the transformer replaced less than two years ago.

Every so often it will go into lock out and need a reset, when this happens I can hear it blowing but not burning. I take it apart, inspect every thing I can (electrodes, nozzle, photo eye, transformer arcing) every thing checks out and I put it back together and it works fine, aside from the rumble of burning the built up oil. Once the water gets up to temp I'll force it to cycle a few times and it fires right up each call for heat.

When it's manually reset and not touched it will continue to not fire, I found out instead of taking it apart and putting it back together a gentle kick will cause it to fire and work fine for a while. I've checked all the connections and nothing seems loose, grounded good and all.

Could it be water in the oil causing this? Any one ever have a similar issue or know what else it could be?
