I'm doing work at a client's house they bought to flip. Boiler had not been started in over 4 years. System was completely bled before house was left.
The system got filled with water before starting. The fuel was bled and then the system was turned on and the boiler fired.
Fast forward a couple days...the system seems to be operating poorly. It ran "fine" for days until the other night it shut itself off. I hit the rest button and it came back on but now the system has only 10psi at the boiler. A bunch of air in the lines and hammering. I personally think the system was installed incorrectly. Can anyone help me get this thing running right?
