Radiant Floor Heat and Hard Water

We are looking at getting radiant floor heat when we remodel in a year or two... but we have very hard water.
Is a direct/open system a good idea to use? or would hard water deposits form in the floor tubing? and would the moving parts, ie pump need to be replaced sooner?

Would it be worth it to go to a closed loop system and use antifreeze or some other liquid? My concern for that would be any leaks that could occur....

Thanks
