Just got a new 1.5 ton condenser and air handler but it's not putting out as much air as the 18 year old unit it replaced.

The air flow from the vents doesn't seem to be even half as strong. Is this normal for newer systems? If not, what are some possible reasons?

The techs couldn't have hooked up 110 to the air handler when it requires 220 could they? Would it even run like that?

Thanks for any suggestions.
