Minimum HW baseboard length (gas fireplace for Santa)

I am looking to install a direct vent gas fireplace into the corner of my living room. It will serve as heating, but to be 100% honest, a big reason for this install is my wife loves Christmas and accordingly has really been wanting a fireplace, particularly now that we have kids ("How does Santa get to our house?").

Problem is, the only corner where the fireplace will work, there is HW baseboard heating. I'm thinking I will keep the baseboard as is, cut into the housing at a certain length in the corner, remove fins, insulate pipe, and install the fireplace with the pipe running behind it. To do this, however, we will obviously lose lengths of baseboard heating.

The room is 1,950 cubic feet (12 ft x 18ft with vaulted ceiling 10 ft at the center). The baseboard is heated via a Navien tankless set at 180 degrees Fahrenheit. It is a single series heating system.

What is the minimum length of baseboard heating required to heat this room effectively if the fireplace were not on? We won't be running the fireplace when we aren't home, so will depend on baseboard alone to heat the room at times.

Much thanks for your help in advance.
