Debating this with someone, typical c/u... 3 wire motor, one to fan side of cap, one to common which is jumped to the contactor and one wired to defrost board which is tied into opposite side of contactor.
On a single pole contactor, does it matter which one of the two power legs is on the normally open/closed side of the contactor?
