Hi everyone, I’ll be calling a local hvac company sometime in the next few weeks but wanted to make sure I’m prepared before they come out so thanks in advance for any guidance. Just bought a new house and the furnace was using a electronic air cleaner that Id like to get rid of. I have some clearance issues with the way the furnace and water heater are situated so it might be a little difficult to understand the orientation but here are a few pics Album. There isn’t much room between the air handler and the wall so I believe it will be easier for me to angle a filter in from the water heater side. Mainly I’m wondering if this seems doable and roughly what it would cost to have someone make a small filter box that I could angle a filter in from the water heater side.
