So my room is about 150 SQM and at first I bought a 6000 BTU AC thinking that should be plenty and it wasn't I returned it and bought an 8000 BTU AC thinking it might be a little overkill but would atleast cool my room.
I have it running right now and its been running for about an hour and I have it set to 64 degrees and my room has been sitting at 79 degrees.
I have a computer, a 49 inch tv and a mini fridge all running in here so I dont know if I should be adding BTU for them but I feel like the 8000 BTU should be cooling the room.
Any advice on why this thing isnt getting the job done? I would think its a faulty unit but I doubt I got two faulty units in a row.
