Guess the title says it all.
I need to recharge my car that have a R134a system, and have been pondering using "evnvirosafe" that is basically a mix of methane and butane, but don't like the potential flammability of the gas.
Anyways - the R134a is very expensive where I live, but I have access to R1234ze that is supposed to be replacing R134a for automotive use.
It seems like a very good substitute both when it comes to price, safety and the environment.
Are the two gasses similar enough that I can put R1234ze in a system made for R134a?
