Hello Folks.
I live in Southern New England. I have an Oil-Fired StarFire(II or III can't remember) Boiler which supplies Domestic Hot Water (tank less)
I use the emergency shut off switch to prevent the boiler from coming on when I do not plan on needing DHW. I only need DHW maybe twice a day.
I realize that it would be bad to turn it off while it is running.
Is there anything wrong with using the switch to keep it off when I don't want it yo cycle?
TL;DR: Is it harmful to turn the boiler on for DHW and once it is done cycling flip the switch so it won't cycle, when I don't want it to?
Thank you for your time.
