~4 degree temperature swing throughout house

Our house has a single-zoned central A/C unit for the whole house. We are experiencing some pretty significant temperature differences throughout the house.

When the thermostat is set to 72 degrees, we get 68 in the basement, 72 on the main floor (location of the thermostat) and 76 upstairs.

I'm curious if this is normal for central A/C or if we should have a professional come and take a look.
