[Serious] Hello Reddit! Long time reader, First time writer. -I have a Portable AC unit (SoleusAir) model Number: EL-PAC-08E9, 8000 BTU. I resently installed it in my room (12ft. by 8ft.) and the plastic exhaust tubing that came with it is getting EXTREMELY hot! I understand that its supposed to get hot, BUT, I was wondering, whats the best way to somehow insulate the tubing? I noticed that all the heat coming from the tube is making the room still hot! I already made sure that it is properly sealed, (no air leaks) and that it is sealed at the window where it exhausts. Is there any type of "anti" heat shielding I can wrap it with? or some type of tape that will do that? Thanks!!!
