I live in a small one bedroom apartment with an HVAC unit in a closet in the back corner. It's not unusually loud, but my place is so small that it's pretty distracting when I'm working or sleeping, especially because my bedroom is right across the hall. Here are a few pics:
Most of the noise comes from the intake vent above the door, which I guess makes sense. I'm going to put some foam up inside the door, but is there some way to soundproof the vent too without affecting airflow? If not, I may just partition off the entire area instead. Any advice would be appreciated!
