I have a high efficiency gas furnace and I want to add a drip tee to the exhaust vent as close to the furnace to prevent further water draining into the draft inducer.
My problem is that the exhaust and intake vents are right next to each other and run parallel for the whole run. So would it make more sense to alter the exhaust vent or alter the intake piping? One has to be altered in order to fit the drip tee to the exhaust vent.
