I have a Frigidaire window unit that makes a humming noise every minute

every minute or so my window unit makes a pretty noticeable humming noise that lasts anywhere from 15-30 seconds.. then it goes away and all i can hear is the fan like normal.

then another minute goes by and the same humming noise comes back..

over and over and over

the unit works fine.. it cools my room well. but the noise is annoying.. and im also concerned that it might indicate some type of underlying problem..

can anyone help?
