I just bought a new 15,000 BTU A/C and want to install it. Prior to this AC, I used the below A/C bracket that was recommended/required by our building - supports up to 160lbs (my AC is 105lbs) - linked below.
However, due to the size of the A/C, the suggested installation is to remove the A/C from the sleeve, install the sleeve with the including triangle brackets for support. Is that necessary given I have a stand-alone bracket? If I have to install both I would but I would prefer to drill as little as possible into the frames.
