Looking to upgrade our 1980s Rheem A/C unit and 1991 Lennox Whisper Heat in our home. We live in the Midwest in a 1940s Two story brick house with plaster and lathe walls. We got a quote from a very reputable company who is a Trane dealer. The base quote gives us the Trane XR13 and XR95 for $6885 but in order to get the 0% financing for 48 months we would need to upgrade to the XR16 and S9V2 furnace which is around $8500. Wondering if anyone had the same or similar products and could give some advice. This is my first time purchasing anything like this. Any help would be much appreciated!
